Within a few weeks of launching the site, Purgatory Cleaning’s schedule was fully booked.
Service with a Smile
When I first came to Durango in 2014, I saw exactly the type of place I wanted my family and I to settle down. A mountain playground, draped in conifers, the river running through it all. I saw a small community with a ton of passion. Streets and trails my kids could grow up within, smiling all the while.
It took us a few more years until we were ready to put down roots, but we’ve now been living and playing in La Plata County since 2018. We built our home with our own two hands here, and we can now call our very youngest son a Durango native.
This area is a crossroads, between desert and mountain, farmers and cyclists, sunburn summers and 31′ of snow winters. For me, it’s the locals and transplants and tourists alike that make this such an interesting place to call home.
So whether you’ve been here since 1979, just showed up last month or are here for the week, I encourage you, when you see the rest of us on the trail, to say “Hi!” Durango.
